Meet The Team
Someone from the team takes a sample of every run produced to make sure it passes the Smidgin & Company standards.
SMIDGIN:
A former rally and agility enthusiast who, at 14 can still clear the odd jump or casually scale an A-frame for the good stuff. The beef keeps her joints feeling young.
I’m a 10lb Mini Schnauzer with sky-high standards and zero tolerance for subpar snacks. Some say I inspired the brand. I say I demanded it. I help out with quality control. You might call it stealing samples when no one’s looking, but it’s my process and it works.
I rep the beef because I use it stay limber.
MILLIGRAM:
A retired sprinter with a big heart and little sense of personal space. She’s up for anything, which is why she’s a fan of the Snackola variety bag.
I used to make up for my looks with speed. Now I do it with snuggles. With my athletic career in the rear view, I’m more of a success consultant and a motivational cuddle missile. I can tell when someone needs some love and I bring it.
I’m the Snackola girl because I’m a handful.
ARLO:
A food thief that gets away with it because he’s cute and a bit manipulative. The low-fat lamb rewards he gets for not stealing food is worth standing down.
I’m not a fan of the word “no.” I don’t think it should apply to me and I’ve decided to disregard it completely I behave when it suits me to do so, which is most of the time. And the effort doubles as banked goodwill for when I get out of line — it’s usually treat-related.
They gave me the lamb to represent because I can be baaaad.
FLYNN:
A gentle giant with a hyperactive mind and a somewhat sensitive stomach. The pork rewards go down easy and keep his energy up for obedience training.
Every day’s the best day to be me! Everything’s fun! Everything’s energy! Everything’s wow! What’s bigger than a good time? Not broken vases. Not mud through the house. Not a big shakyshake in the nice room. Nothing!

DAISY:
A can’t-stop-smiling people-pleaser who gets genuine pleasure from helping out and being rewarded for it. The Omega 3 acids in the salmon keep her sharp.
I’m an adventurous little Maltese-Pekingese and first official ambassador. I hike the Trans Canada trail every day, and when summer hits, you’ll find me racing down the beach trails like I own the place. I snowshoe in winter, swim in summer, and yes — I paddleboard like a pro. I ride shotgun in the truck, and when the humans break out the motorcycle? I’m on the back, wind in my ears, living my best life.
As a Nova Scotia girl, it’s natural I be the fish expert.
FERGIE:
A lover, a protector and a reactor with big feelings who needs a bit extra to stay quiet. She prefers the mobility boost from chicken as she does a lot of trail walking.
I have a big voice that deserves to be heard: natural authenticity, the perfect timber, just the right amount of gruff. I don’t question the gifts I’ve been given. But I use them for good. Most of the time.
I make the world more accessible one cluck at a time.
