Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Smidgin & Company Inc. website.

By accessing or using our site, purchasing products, or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Online Store Terms

You must be at least 18 years old to use this website or make a purchase.
You agree not to use our products for any unlawful purpose.

2. Products & Availability

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time without notice.

Colours, textures, and packaging may vary slightly due to production and display differences.

3. Pricing

Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and may change without notice.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time.

4. Payment

Payments are processed securely through SquareUp.
We accept major credit cards except American Express.
E-transfers are accepted, but no orders ship until payment is received in full.

5. Shipping

Shipping options and rates are shown at checkout based on the courier the customer chooses.
Tracking numbers are emailed automatically once orders are processed.

Smidgin & Company is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage once the package has been transferred to the courier.

6. Returns & Refunds

We do not accept returns or exchanges due to the nature of our edible pet products.
All sales are final.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours with photos so we can assist.

7. Wholesale Accounts

Wholesale accounts are available for approved businesses.
Interested retailers may contact barkback@smidginandcompany.com.

We reserve the right to approve, deny, or revoke wholesale privileges.

8. Subscriptions (Future Feature)

If subscription services are added in the future (“Wagged & Bagged”), the following will apply:
• Subscriptions will auto-renew until cancelled
• Customers may cancel at any time before their renewal date
• Pricing and box contents may change with notice

These terms will be updated when subscriptions launch.

9. Accuracy of Information

We do our best to keep product descriptions, weights, and information accurate.
However, we are not responsible for unintentional errors or omissions.

10. Limitation of Liability

Smidgin & Company Inc. is not liable for:
• Courier delays or damages
• Allergic reactions or unsuitability for individual pets
• Improper use or handling of products
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

You use our products at your own discretion.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website implies acceptance of updated Terms.
